This aluminum replica race body arrived on a ‘39 Alfa Romeo frame that had a lot of racing history to it. The story goes that the race chassis was sent to Italy to the original coach builder, Touring, to keep the heritage and value of the car alive. Since the body on the race chassis didn’t have much value, the owner had a custom frame made because he enjoyed driving the car so much. A new frame was designed and built from scratch to accommodate the older components.
